No.. this is a blog of well.. me! Let's start over...

Hi! My name is Sariah!

Let's start off with some questions you may have....

1. Where are you from?

NOTHING compares to these sunsets <3

I'm from good old sunny Arizonaaaaa
Bonus: I was born in Cali and proud of it (LA baby! Woohoo!)

2. Where did you get the name Gigi from?

It's a nickname my family had for me when I was way little. Sariah can be a tough word for most.



I'm the one on the right.


Like today at Jamba for instance, most just think it's a typo. Say it with me: Suh-Ri-Uh. No? Okay. PLUS Gigi is fun to say! (but don't say it too fast)

3. You seem racially ambiguous.. do you mind me asking.. wha-.. uh, where-.. no, ah uh oo..etc.

I get this a lot so let me ease your pain. Haha my father is from Chicago and he's African American.

My amazing mother is from Nicaragua and she's Hispanic

The Country of Nicaragua. Muah!

for those of you who don't know where that is.

So I guess that makes me one kick-butt mixed lady with golden pipes and Latin blood running through my veins. 😉

4. What is this blog for?

Me. holding a duck.

This is just a diary of the a half Hispanic half black 18yr old LDS BYU student's journey through life.

I'll be here struggling at life (who doesn't), giving advice where I can, sharing stories .. probably dancing and pulling all things Kimmy Bubier-style. Anyone? Anyone?

Hopefully you will be able to relate or at least have a couple laughs along the way.
